Sorry about the confusion.  This position is Mon-Fri, rotating one out of every eight weekends. When we work the weekend, we work 8 hours on Saturday and we are on call Sunday from noon-1:00pm.  Thanks.

       Your email sounds as if you work six days a week, Monday - Saturday
and on call Sundays once every 2 months. Doesn't sound very appealing.
        Maybe you should let people know if this is correct.

Fairview-University Medical Center, has a full-time HT/IHC position
available. Hours rotate with start times from 5:00 to 7:30 a.m.
Monday-Saturday, on-call hours for Sunday and holidays.  Approximately 1
weekend every 2 months. 

Education: Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in histologic
technique or two years of college with emphasis on biological sciences plus
one year experience in histologic technique.

Certification/Licensure:  Registered histological technician, HT (ASCP)
certification or eligible. New hires must successfully complete HT boards
within 24 months of hire date.
