By WAY overdone do you mean too much silver?

This is probably a rather elementary question, but if a GMS stain is WAY 
overdone, and there is no more tissue availible, is there a way to fix that 
specific slide??

This is a trouble-shooting techniques question, and we're trying to research

what other institutions do in this situation.
