Re: anti-Vimentin

From:Kappeler Andreas

moa-a-Vimentin, clone V9, (e.g. Dako M 0725) shows cross-reactivity with
many species, including mice (according to Dako). We have successfully used
it on several animal species, however not with mouse tissue. Be aware that
mouse-on-mouse IHC will create some problems with your secondary antibody
picking up all the endogenous mouse immunoglobulin along with the
mo-a-vimentin antibody. Commercial kits that allow to stain with mouse
antibodies on mouse tissue are available at least from Dako (ARK) and Zymed
(Histo Mouse). Hope this helps.
