Now you know the reason that will be inevitably given will be that "The Lab" is incompetent. When in doubt blame the lousy techs ... I've seen plenty of that.

Give her exactly what she wants, she is obviously an "expert". Then she can defend her lousy results when she shows the slides at a meeting or seminar.
