We have dieners that are on call @ $40.00/weekend (no weekday call).  For
each autopsy, they are paid $30.00/hour with a minimum of 4 hours paid.
(Rarely does the post exceed 4 hours).  With this arrangement, you wouldn't
believe the number of people that request this position on a per diem basis.
