     Acid methods of decalcification will destroy all fluorochrome labels 
     due to liberation of calcium from its ionic state through ionic 
     exchange, rendering a soluble calcium salt in the matrix. I am not 
     aware of any advances in paraffin processing that will preserve bone 
     labels.
