flouromount
From: | Cathy Gorrie <C.Gorrie@unsw.edu.au> |
Has anyone used a mountant called flouromount from BDH? I have a
bottle but no information.
Is this a permanent mounting medium and how well does it preserve the
flourescence?
I know it's Xylene based so I assume you treat sections exactly as
you would if using DPX. ie dehydrate through graded alcohols/xylene
to coverslip. Yes?
Is it suitable for TRITC and FITC which are the two commonly used in our lab?
Anyone with experience in this product, I'd love to hear your
comments on it. Thanks, Cathy
