Tarik,
I hope you have a good atlas. I use "The Rat Brain in Stereotaxic
Coordinates" by Paxinos and Watson. I would not be able to find my way
around a rodent brain without it. The MFB looks fairly obvious, but perhaps
you could try to do a combination stain of Cresyl and Luxol Fast Blue.
