RE: Mycobacterium paraTB for Immunohistochemistry

From:David Taylor Manager <DTMan@KINGMOWER.COM.AU>

Dear Marilyn, We stain for myco-para TB in sheep, cows, alpacas etc. using a
cold ZN stain. Any further typing is done by PCR using a variety of specific
probes. I have spoken to the veterinary pathologist and she says they also
do serology but don't use any IHC. If you would like any further info e-mail
me personally and I'll put you in touch with the veterinary pathologist.
David.

Hi Histonetters,
Does anyone know of a primary antisera for myco-paraTB? I have used the
myco-bovis primary from Dako but was wondering if any Veterinary Lab.
staining for Johnes disease( in bovine or sheep) was using other primary
antibodies. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
