Lexicon Genetics Incorporated is a leader in defining the functions of genes
for drug discovery using large-scale knockout mouse technology.  Lexicon has
an immediate opening for a full-time, permanent position for Research
Associate.

The Research Associate position requires an individual possess certification
by ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) at either the technician
or technologist level or strong research experience in a fast paced
histology laboratory. Duties will include tissue processing, embedding,
sectioning and staining of paraffin-processed tissue.  Experience with
non-human tissue is a plus as well as previous experience in a research
environment.  Computer skills must include ability to work in a Windows
environment with Microsoft Office components and ability to use web
browsers. Familiarity with special staining techniques and
immunohistochemistry desired.
