This may not be a processing problem or a staining problem, we discovered an 
exhaustion so to speak of our Xylenes with this artifact. We found this 
staining artifact occurred at the end of our routines or with re-cuts, etc. 
Have you noticed this at a certain time of day? Wenow change out our xylenes 
at the end of routines, right before re-cuts and this seems to help. We did 
not see it however, in all tissue and the types changed  daily. Just an FYI
