Dear Veronique,

I got some experience wit PFA perfusion fixation. First of all, you 
better reduce its concentration to 1-2 % because it smells. Secondly, 
reduced concentration of PFA allows better immunohistochemistry. No 
worry, Beta-gal reaction goes even after strong fixation. Usually, I 
postfix tissues for some hours or overnight in same fix-solution.
