I have another CJD-related question.  I need to decontaminate the
solutions and I will be using a 5N solution of NaOH.  But what do I do
with the formic acid?  Is it considered to be already decontaminated?

Also, is anyone using phenol-saturated formalin to fix the tissue
initially or are you using just plain formalin?
