We purchased a mini bench top centrifuge for approx $200. Spins six
microcentrifuge tubes up to 2 ml size. We spin for just a minute or so.
The centrifuge has one convenient speed, and works like a charm, takes up
very little bench space, saved the day! If the chromogen is clumping, have
had that happen with some, I mix, put through an inexpensive non sterile
0.45 um syringe filter (Fisher) and use immediately.

Fisher and VWR both sell microcentrifuges, will discount
