Hi,
    I didn't see the lecture, but we restain H&Es frequently. Rehydrating the
slide to water will remove the Eosin. If you are doing heat induced epitope
retrieval, the hematoxylin will be removed in this process. If you plan to
counterstain with hematoxylin, dont bother removing it.
    We don't do restain IFs. I haven't heard if this is even possible. Does
anyone out there know?
