 The latter can only be a compliment. David Bodian, who
 died a few years ago, was a distinguished scientist
 before he was 30, on account of his protargol method
 for axons (1936). He went on to do important work in
 comparative neuroanatomy and on the pathology of
 poliomyelitis.
