I am interesred to know if this tape could also transfer sections 
which are in xylol and have already been dewaxed and stained. The 
reason why I am interested is that our medical students often break 
slides and this would be a nice way to be able to save the section.  
I often stick the broken slide onto another with entellan if the 
break is not through the section but it is rather messy and  does not 
look good.
