You might find the info you need on the Homepages below (one.net.au) 
in summary, here it is:

The method of Burns etal (J.Clin.Pathol., 40:858-864, 1987) works quite well: 

Wash slides in 2% Decon (BDH 56042), 10 minutes. 
Rinse slides in water, 3 minutes. 
Rinse in acetone, 1 minute. 
Immerse in 2% APTS (Sigma A3648) in acetone, 5 minutes. 
Wash in water, 2 minutes. 
Dry at room temperature overnight.
