I still recommend Kok & Boon's "Microwave Cookbook for Microscopists: Art and Science of
Visualization", which I expect is still in print.

Sigma Diagnostics used to distribute a microwave stains handbook (which I helped write while
with Sigma) at no charge.  You might check with them to see if they still have it available.
