When I had problems with the HistoClear family of xylene replacements a
large number of people thought I was just being over sensitive. It is good
to know I am not the only one with a problem both skin and headache wise.
At least I can avoid the greater part of the time. Pam Marcum

Hi Nancy-
d-Limonene is a sensitizer. I am unable to tolerate Hemo-De as a
coverslipping agent but I do use it on the processor (inside fume
hood). I clear slides in Xylene then coverslip from Pro-Par
(Anatech).
Good luck-
Lorraine
