Paraformaldehyde---------------20gm
Picric acid, saturated aqueous
     (double filtered)----------------150ml

Heat to 60c to dissociate the paraformaldehyde. Add 2.52% aqueous NAOH
dropwise to alkalinize the solution. Filter the solution and allow it to
cool. Dilute the solution to 1000ml with phosphate buffer prepared as
follows:

   NAH2PO4.H2o---------3.31gm
   NAH2PO4( anhydrous)-----18.88gm
   Distilled water------------1000ml

The solution should have a final ph of 7.3 .Adjust as necessary.

Hope this helps.
