The Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital, Houston is
seeking experienced histotechnologists with ethusiasm for innovation and
research. The laboratory provides  services for over 10,000 clinical
specimens per year with abundant immunochemistry and in-situ diagnostic
procedures and supports over 30 research projects at a time with emphasis on
models of human disease in transgenic and gene knock-out mice. Newly
developed monoclonal antibodies and gene probes are tested and utilized
regularly, requiring individuals with curiosity, self-motivation,
flexibility and a desire to contribute new knowledge toward the
understanding and treatment of children's diseases.
