Hi Scott,
We have the Sakura stainer and coverslipper. We have no complaints
with the stainer. The coverslipper however, slides get hung up in the exit
chute. This has caused some of our slides to get broken if we did not notice
it in time. Also, the tape when looked at through the microscope, seems to
have fine lines ( this does not happen all of the time ). It almost looks as
though there is water under the coverslip, when in reality, it is just the
structure of the tape itself. I think glass is a much better choice. But
when you consider how fast we can cover slides with the coverslipper, there
is no contest. I hope I have been of some assistance.
