Hello histonetters,

Sometimes the cacophony of voices on the histonet is a bit overwhelming to the
neophyte. So I'm very greatful for the private conversations I've had with Gayle.
It gives me the freedom to reveal the depth of my ignorance. Also, some days it
gets darn lonely down here in the basement. The histnet gives all of us a chance
to pick and choose our mentors and colleagues, and yack about things other than
histology. Hooray for the histonet! -Karen in Oregon

1. If I reply to someone privately, I do it because I CHOOSE to be PRIVATE.
and I am offended if the person I communicated privately with, who puts it
out for all to read onHistonet or elsewhere. Histonet is a source
of email addresses available for just this privacy issue.

2. I enjoy the question and answer format of H'net. Vendors who
participate in this format are invaluable. If you are personally offended
by vendor participation, take it to them PRIVATELY! better yet, see #3.

3. Delete button is alive and well on my computer.
If a sent message is perceived as THE blatant advertisement INSTEAD
OF AN ANSWER, ZAP! Curious, it never gets past the subject line here!

4. Bashing a vendor or another's reply and/or problems is RUDE!!!
worthy of the big ZAPOLA POOF GONE! Bite thy tongue before a bash!

Vendors, I want that info, stand up and answer those questions, out in the
open and on H'net. Your product MAY be the one to solve a problem, improve my
technical skills and certainly TEACHES me something.

Remember Bambi's Thumper saying "if you can't say somethin' nice, then
don't say nothin' at all!", probably messed up that quote!
