Pat- If you believe that Cruetzfeld Jacob Disease and other prion diseases
can be transmitted by block trimmings, as is generally accepted, that would
speak for treating this stuff as hazardous waste. However, I'll bet most
places don't. Netters, are there any regs on this, or is a free for all?
Gary- Dick Dapson of Anatech wrote and sells a comprehensive ref on
chemical safety in the histo lab.
