A group of workers, Occupational Health if i remember correctly, at
the Univ of Glasgow, Scotland did at least two squential studies on
the helath of laboratory staff. Apart from a higher incidence of
hepatitis among scientific (and technical) staff, and a slightly
higher incidence of brain tumours and lymphomas amongst pathologists,
they found no significant disease incidence compated to the "normal"
population. These studies were at least ten years ago when
atmospheric levels of solvents were undoubtedly higher.
