Re: [Histonet] Small cell carcinoma

We do not do just the synapto, but also chromogranin and NSE.

Subject: [Histonet] Small cell carcinoma

am curious to see what other institutions are using to diagnose small
ell carcinoma in human formalin fixed, paraffin tissue.
I have run into some literature that states that synaptophysin will
tain positive 90% of the time, and in other articles will stain
ositive only 50% of the time.
re there other antibodies that are more specific that you have found
ork better??
Awaiting your knowledge and experience.
