RE: [Histonet] NOW Alcohol / Xylene storage in flammable storagec abinet

From:Kemlo Rogerson

Alcohol floats unless physically made to mix with water, xylene floats even
if mixed; sprinklers appear to be an efficient system in disseminating the
fire all over the place. Chip Fat fires in the UK must emulate flaming
paraffin wax and we incinerate loads of betas by them getting drunk, putting
on the chip pan, it igniting and them waking up in a drunken stupor and
throwing water at it. In an attempt to save this valuable commodity we ask
them to put a dampened cloth over it after turning of the flames; wonder
where they get that from. Their trousers?
