I have received FFPE mouse tissue that has been treated with canine MDCK cells. It has been established that there are carcinoma cells present in the mice tissue. What I am trying to establish is whether the tumour has originated from a canine or murine origin. Does anyone know of any immunohistochemical markers that would be species specific for this task?
