Re: [Histonet] levels on biopsies

From:"Becky and Travis Barnhart"

The majority of our cases are biopsies. We cut 2 levels for each. On each
slide, depending on the size of the tissue, we put 2 rows of sections. For
little specimens (colon polyps/bx, some cores, etc) we can usually get 8
sections on 1 slide.

Subject: [Histonet] levels on biopsies

We have a lot of biopsy samples. We have always cut 3 levels. But,
in an effort to save time and money (supplies), I would like to cut 2
levels. What I want to know is how many levels everyone cuts on their
biopsies? Does anyone just cut 2 levels?
Thanks!
