RE: [Histonet] slides

From:"Smith, Allen"

I had this problem with one lot of slides from Baxter. Half of them could
be separated with thumbnails or a single-edge razor blade; the other half
broke rather than separate. Soaking in soapy water didn't help. I didn't
try organic solvents because they cost more than a new box of slides.

Subject: [Histonet] slides

hello, has anyone encountered the sticking together of precleaned unused
glass microscope slides ? I'm experiencing a fair amount of glass slide
strong adherence; I think due to the humidity of this lab during this time
of year. I'm open for pointers & solutions. Thanks, Atoska p.s. tried acid
cleaning, heating, & freezing. I've been able to separate a few but a good
majority will not budge.
