[Histonet] major changes

From:"Hoye, Glenda F. (Fka Hood)"

Hello all,

To those who might be interested, as of this coming Thursday July 1, I
will no longer be the Program Director of the Histotechnology Program at
Indiana University. I am moving (back) to Texas, and will be the program
director of a new histology program offered by Tarleton State University
at their Fort Worth clinical laboratory sciences facility.

My new contact information at work -- beginning July 19 -- will be:
Tarleton State University
Histotechnology Program
1501 Enderly Place
Fort Worth, TX 76104
817-926-1101 (don't know the extension yet)

The distance-delivered program at IU will continue under the
directorship of Debra Wood, B.S., HT(ASCP). Currently, she has not been
assigned an email address, so I can't give you more contact information
than the phone and address at the end of this message (which we are
assuming will remain the same).

My time in Indiana has been wonderfully exciting professionally. This
position has allowed me to reach students all over the country, with 327
graduates in the first 9 years of the program. It is with some sadness
that I leave the program, but with excitement as I embark on the new
venture.

Personally, Indiana has been good to me also, as I found my new (and
last!) husband, Phil, here. He likes to tell people that I'm moving back
to Texas and taking a Yankee with me - he's originally from near
Pittsburgh, PA. Actually, he's excited about the move and this new stage
of our lives.

Keep in touch! I'll see many of you at NSH in the fall, and some of you
when I get to Fort Worth!!

Glenda
