[Histonet] Coverslip tape
If you are using a Tissue-Tek coverslipper this might help. Five or
more years ago 7 drops of xylene per slide was the recommended amount.
The tape quality changed a few years ago and the "new" recommendation
was 9 drops of xylene per slide. Also, we open the plastic covering the
tape and leave the box top open to "condition the tape to the room
atmosphere". We keep our extra roll on top of the coverslipper in that
way for at least 24hrs before use.
