We do a lot of H&E here, previously we were preparing cassette labels
manually. Of lately we have started using printout labels, mind you
photostat copies of the labels get obscured (we did do a comparative run
with printouts and photostat copies of the printouts), however printout
copies of labels work fine (after processing, the labels do not get
smudged or washed out). Hope this helps.

Dear Stacey,

I have a labeller from Surgipath. It has a qwerty keyboard and keypad so
you can use a combination of letters and numbers and can either do
repeats of a number or increments according to your requirements. Just
one word of warning, don't handle the cassettes by the labelled end for
a couple of minutes, the ink can smudge, otherwise it's great. Note,
don't leave the ink ribbons in a hot atmosphere.
