RE: [Histonet] Tissue Processors - Conventional

From:"GUTIERREZ, JUAN"

Yes, go with the VIP. The lab I was working for a couple of years ago finally replaced their old VIP 2nd generation with the new 5th and we never skipped a beat, hard to beat proven technology. The lab I'm in now has the new Leica ASP300. It was purchased about two or three years ago. I've been here about a year and a half and have had to have it serviced at least three times. The last time it was down for almost a month while they tried to figure out what the correct part number was. Good luck in your search, and I hope this helps.

Subject: [Histonet] Tissue Processors - Conventional

We're in the process of purchasing a new tissue processor and we're
demo-ing the Sakura VIP5 against the new Leica. Has anyone else recently
purchased a processor?
