[Histonet] "Strange but true" bone artifact?
From: | Jackie.O'Connor@abbott.com |
Happy Wednesday, Everyone -
I have a strange bone artifact I would like to share with you. I have
paraffin sections of a xenograft tumor in decalcified mouse tibia. The tumor
shows what I can only describe as a shredding artifact that I've never seen
before - looks like my living room curtains after my cat had a party. It's
only in the nuclei of the tumor - not in the surrounding bone or bone marrow
or other soft tissue. I have a photo to share with whomever wants it, and I
have posted it in the histonet picture archive as "Strange but true bone
artifact". Until it posts, I can send it to anyone interested. I'd love to
hear your comments.
Thanks!
