Re: HE stain without Blue reagent
Hi
We are in dire need of a manual for the Ventana 1530 tissue processor. Does anyone out there have it and could I coerce you into sending me a copy? We would be forever indebted!!

Hi Yan
You should be able to blue your sections just by running under tap water, but you can try making your own blueing solution - I use Scott's solution (20 g/l of sodium bicarbonate and 3.5 g/l of magnesium sulphate 7-hydrate). After haeamtoxylin, rinse slides in tap water, then immerse in Scott's for 30s-1min, then rinse in tap water before eosin.
