This manager will be responsible for the efficient utilization of assigned
resources and for planning future research and development, staffing,
equipment and space. Supervises, orients, trains, and develops staff.
Prepares the assigned laboratory area for CLIA, JCAHO and other regulatory
reviews.

Work requires a high level of managerially oriented, educational,
development and professional knowledge in histopathologic specialty
techniques; proven comprehensive knowledge specifically in
immunohistochemistry , the basis which was acquired through completion of a
bacheloris degree and training in histopathology clinical and research
laboratories operations. Substantial interpersonal skills necessary to
direct work activities of support staff, maintain cooperative
interdivisional working relationships, and to work closely with physicians,
vendors, outside accounts and all other pathology laboratories.

Some travel may be required to support laboratory  projects, international
laboratories and attendance at national meetings.
