I am currently working in a contract lab. as a senior histologist.  I had a Ph.D foreign diploma (Science of Biotechnology, Belgium).  I am interested take molecular pathology, mp(ASCP) test because that I what I have done.  Should I get histotechnologist HTL(ASCP) certificate first then get MP(ASCP).  What is the benifit of this MP(ASCP)?  Is this certification very useful?  Before I pursue this test, I like hear some suggestions.  Thanks a lot.
