How does your
hospital/pathologists or the responsible department handle the staging of
tumors? (TNM codes) We understand that it will a CAP regulated mandatory part of
the report beginning Jan 2004 - postponed from Jan 2003. We interpret the regs
to say that the FORM MUST be a part of the record.
1. Do your pathologists
complete the forms or dictate into the report?
2. If you have electronic
patient files, do you have a form on line, or is the paper form scanned into the
system?
