Microwaves of most common wattages could achieve these temperatures, reagent
volume and timing is the issue.
I would use a temperature probe to achieve and maintain 95-98C in a
microwave.

Maybe a silly question: someone used a microwave for an antigen retrieval
step at a temperature of 95 or even 98#162#(tm)C. What wattage did he used to
achieve this temperature? Anyone with a idea?
