Works great for me with the richard allen blend reagent grade alc. We use histoclear as our clearing agent and also get the fishy smell, more of a burning smell for us though.

So far, I've heard nothing but good thing about the CBG formalin, alcohol,
xylene recycler. Can anyone give me any cons, beside the fishy smell?
