Hucker Conn problems, whoops didn't finish message!

>You did not say how you were doing the staining protocol and what
decolorizer is being used.  I could not find a method specifically named
Hucker Conn (unless it is a purchased kit) but Lillie's book, for a Gram
stain on tissue sections, uses Hucker Conn crystal violet as does Taylors
modification of Brown and Brenn.  

I suspect your decolorizer as the culprit.  

Can you elaborate on exact procedure as Gram stains on tissue sections have
many variations/modifications.
