You can call CBG Biotech @ (800) 941-9484 and ask for technical support. 

They have a method where you put 85 ml  of xylene and 15 ml of water into a 100 ml grad. cylinder, read the seperation point, and plug in there formula to get the xylene purity.  I have forgotten the formula or would give it to you. 

They are excellent in customer assistance.
