RE: Myogenin control

From:Linke_Noelle

Hi Martha

I just went through this myself! LabVision sells positive control slides and their monoclonal antibody works fabulously as well. I use antigen retrieval, dilute primary 1:400, incubate 1 hour. After that, standard protocol. If you need any more info, let me know.

I am in need of a good positive control for myogenin. I have tried
several blocks and am not getting very good results. We used to get
good staining and now... nothing. Not sure what is going on but would
appreciate any input, including what antibody, dilution, pre-treatment,
etc. We have been using one from Santa Cruz Biotechnology. Thanks in
advance for your help!
