Hello all, 

Can anyone tell me about the Benchmark for HPV testing?  Is anyone currently
using it on ThinPreps?  If so, how is the reimbursement?  I know that PCR is
the gold standard for HPV, but we are looking into demoing the Benchmark for
HPV on ThinPreps.  We currently are sending them out (112 in MAY) to Mayo
who uses Hybrid Capture and we may be starting to send them to an Ameripath
affiliate in Florida because they have a combo test that includes HPV, GC,
and Chlamydia.  I have been investigating starting to do them in house
because of the volume that we send out.  Has anyone done a comparison study
for sensitivity and specificity?  
I would particularly like to hear from Mayo and Ameripath as well.
