is anyone micro waving their slides prior to staining in lieu of a "regular" oven?  if so, what setting, wattage, length of time and placement on the revolving plate etc.?  the lab i work for   is  "suddenly" having uneven staining , appearing as though the paraffin is not heating evenly.   hence the h & e can't stain because the paraffin is inhibiting.  thanks in advance..  lynn brown
