RE: wet tissue storage
We retain fixed tissue in damp paper towels, marked with the laboratory
number, in plastic bags for 10 -12 weeks after the pathologist has issued a
report. This is in case their is a need for the specimen to be revisited.
This works well and does not take up as much space as specimen containers.

does any one use any other type of container for wet tissue storage besides
specimin containers. and how well does it seal( does it leak at all? and
what type of fixative do you sugest to store it in, besides 10% nutral
buffered formalin. any responce would be great!!
