We also deal with a lot of consult cases. We currently do not charge for recuts or stains that are being sent to another institution where the patient will be receiving treatment. We DO charge for any legal requests or other scenarios not resulting in direct treatment of the patient at the present time. Hope this helps...Have a great day :o)

It seems that we are constantly sending out blocks and slides for consults.
We do not currently charge for this but I think we should. I was wondering
what is done at other institutions? Do you charge? Separate charge for
blocks and slides? Charge for recuts? Thanks.
