Re: the new biological stains book

From:Lee & Peggy Wenk <lpwenk@mail.netquest.com>

I just attended the Biological Stain Commission meeting this
weekend, where they announced the progress of the new
edition at an open meeting, so I don't think I'm giving away
any "secrets."

This will be the 10th edition of Conn's. However, it is being
totally rewritten, not just edited or updated. Various people
are writing different chapters.

All chapters are expected to be completed by September,
with final editing occurring over the fall and winter, with expected
date for the selling of the book in June 2002.

Richard Horobin (Scotland) and John Kiernan (Canada)
are on the Conn's 10th Editorship Committee, and are
contributors to Histonet. Hopefully, when they get home
from the meeting, they can provide a better update.
